PTG 4.2mm HSS-Co5 drill to DIN 338 type N, the standard tapping size for M5 threads. Profile ground with a 130° cross-ground point, it drills a true, round hole ready for the tap, even in alloyed and stainless steels where plain HSS struggles. A must-have size for fitters, fabricators and maintenance engineers who tap their own threads on site or at the bench.

• HSS-Co5 (5% cobalt high-speed steel) for longer edge life than standard HSS in alloyed, tool and stainless steels

• 130° point angle with cross-ground (split) point for accurate starts and lower feed force
