Knipex 250mm high leverage centre cutters, built around a centre-cutting head geometry and forged-on axle that together deliver cutting performance on soft, hard, and piano wire that a standard diagonal cutter of the same length simply cannot match. The cutting edges sit at the centre of the head rather than diagonally, and the coordination of cutting edge angle and transmission ratio is what makes this tool capable of cutting soft wire up to 5.0mm and hard wire up to 3.5mm with significantly less hand force than the material would otherwise demand. Cutting edges induction-hardened to approximately 64 HRC, chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel throughout, and a forged-on axle built for the heaviest continuous cutting duty.
